I've been banned from the group on both reddit and Discord for speaking my mind and I'm constantly harassed and followed on reddit. The group's leader has created a smear campaign and threatened to 'take action' to silence me. He's determined to ruin me on the good parts of reddit, where I discuss writing and comics and have been on for years. I can't promote my work, I can't ask for help, and I can't talk about how comics needs more good stories with diverse characters, he and his friend are always there to threaten me.
I told the group that as it was collaboration, it was unfair of another person to tell me I couldn't write my part as he didn't want to collaborate using a written peice with two married men who were financially successful, an immigrant from Greece who speaks about the lack of LGBTQ+ rights, and several strong women. The moderators favored him instead of helping, changing thier rules of 'write good stories' to 'we only want to promote the popular characters (one female, the rest straight white men)'. They told me anyone who doesn't write those characters should 'expect to suffer consequences'. All writers of all genres or types of writing. They also made several comments against blacks, jews, women in general, people from the Middle East, and immigrants in general.
I'd like help spreading the word that this group, MarvelsNCU, on Discord and reddit promote violence against anyone who speaks badly of them, especially women, bisexuals, and anyone who wants to write about characters who are not white, straight, or male.
