Recent observation clearly reveals that most female celebrities prefer to be half-nude, this has indeed become worrisome as most upstarts consider them as role models and hence becoming a bad inflence.
They dress that way to keep people interested in them and because their agents tell them its the best way to keep the cameras on them. If they dresses like the average person and didn't wear makeup, no one would recognized them.
I think these female celebrities still want more than fame...so they just end up showing their skin...and also 2 attract paparazzi and still they pretend 2 get irritated by this....

When a female celeb dresses provocatively it promotes her sex appeal, which turns consumers on to see her movies, and as well as for females to want to dress like them-and turn to retail therapy. The more money that is generated, the more opportunities that open up for people like this. I remember my college thesis was on the role of women in music videos...we live in a world that realizes that we need more positive role models for our children but are too obessed with outside beauty however superficial it might be.
I teach now, and remember a kindergartener say "Ms. Z, Im sexy!" I was like omg what do you know about sexy?!
Its up to the parents to set guide lines and promote positive influences in their children's life....thats a whole another topic!
